Phase 1 of XRWorMs has created a functional and scalable lab-level prototype that allows the integration of current Digital Twin platforms with the use of XR technologies, so that operators can access easily understandable and accessible data of their interest. It has therefore been achieved to simplify the industrial Digital Twins associated with machinery, driven by a large amount of IoT data, through the implementation of a Machinery State Identification system.
Based on the results obtained in Phase 1, it has been considered necessary to propose a Phase 2 in which workers are integrated as another actor of the Digital Twin, connecting machines, processes and people.
The main objective of the XRWorMs Phase 2 project is the creation of a prototype machinery alert system based on wearable devices integrated with XR visualization and guidance systems, with the implementation of an additional layer of cybersecurity in IIoT communications.

Arsoft is a Spanish technology company focused on the development of Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR&VR) systems for the industrial sector, transforming traditional production processes into intelligent production processes. It has developed its own authoring platform for the digitalization of industrial processes with XR technologies.
MAXI INDUSTRIES
INDUSTRIAS MAXI is an engineering company with its own first level manufacturing of integral services for the industrial sector. It is an SME with vocation of service company that offers the integral development (Study, design, manufacture, assembly and start-up of Industrial Solutions). The R&D Department is of vital importance in helping to generate new products that make it possible to provide complex solutions, anticipating the detection of market needs.
FACYL AUTOMOTIVE AND MOBILITY CLUSTER
FACYL, Automotive and Mobility Cluster of Castilla y León, established in 2001, brings together the main players in the automotive sector, along the entire value chain of the sector in Castilla y León. FACYL currently has 90 members that employ 29,700 direct workers and generate a turnover of 9.2 billion euros.
The XRWorMs Phase 2 project is co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism through the line of support for Innovative Business Groups, in its 2023 call within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
