ARSOFT, Bronze Sponsor of the 2026 2E+I Army Forum, Showcasing XR Solutions for Defence

ARSOFT will take part in the 2E+I Army Forum 2026 (Toledo, September 30–October 1) with its XR platform EyeFlow, on display at booth 35. The solution applies Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality to training, maintenance, and technical support for professionals in the military field.

XR technology applied to defense will take center stage in ARSOFT‘s participation in the 2E+I Army Forum 2026. On September 30 and October 1, Toledo will host a new edition of the 2E+I Army Forum, an event that brings together representatives from the Armed Forces, industry, academia, and the technology ecosystem. ARSOFT will take part as an exhibiting company at booth number 34, where it will showcase how Extended Reality can be applied to training, maintenance, and support for professionals in the military field.

The event, organized by the Spanish Army under the direction of the Army Logistics Support Command and coordinated by the Army Museum Foundation, celebrates its ninth edition in 2026 under the theme “Differential Capabilities for the Possible Force.“

Over the course of two days, the Army Museum and the Infantry Academy of Toledo will host various activities aimed at sharing knowledge, analyzing new capabilities, and fostering collaboration among the Armed Forces, industry, and academia.

Extended Reality to Improve Training and Maintenance in Defense

In military environments, having the right information at the right time is essential. The training of professionals, the maintenance of systems, and the readiness of units require working with precise procedures and accessing technical documentation that, in many cases, is still tied to traditional formats.

This is precisely where technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality can offer new possibilities.

Extended Reality makes it possible to bring technical information and procedures directly into the work environment, combine physical and digital elements, and recreate training scenarios without the need to use real systems.

This is not simply about adopting a new technology. The goal is to help professionals better understand information, train more realistically, and carry out specific tasks with greater safety and precision.

EyeFlow, XR Technology Applied to the Defense Sector

During the 2E+I Army Forum, ARSOFT will present EyeFlow, its platform for transforming conventional technical documentation into interactive content and 3D experiences accessible through Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality devices.

The platform enables the creation of XR content without the need for programming, making it easier to turn manuals and technical procedures into more visual and interactive experiences.

In the defense sector, this opens up a range of possibilities.

Immersive Training

Virtual Reality makes it possible to recreate scenarios and procedures so that professionals can train before facing a real situation.

Immersive simulators can be used to practice technical or tactical procedures, repeat specific operations, and become familiar with equipment and systems in a controlled environment.

This allows training to take place without always requiring physical access to the actual system being used.

Maintenance with Augmented Reality

Another application of XR technology relates to maintenance.

A technician working on a vehicle, a system, or any other piece of equipment can consult instructions and procedures while performing a repair or service task. Digital information can be linked directly to the physical component, making it easier to identify parts and follow each step of the process.

In maintenance tasks, where a single error can have serious consequences, having clear, contextualized instructions can help reduce mistakes and improve the execution of procedures.

Contextualized Information for Professionals

Mixed Reality also makes it possible to combine the physical environment with real-time digital information.

Instead of constantly consulting documentation on a separate device, specific data, instructions, or indications can be integrated directly into the user’s field of view.

The result is a different way of accessing information: it’s not about having more data, but about having the right data exactly when it’s needed.

A Meeting Point for Defense, Industry, and Technology

The 2E+I Army Forum also serves as a space to explore where the defense sector is heading and which technological capabilities can meet current needs.

The 2026 edition will also feature new exhibition spaces and a dedicated area for dynamic demonstrations related to autonomous systems, UAS, and other capabilities linked to operational environments.

The program is structured around the annual forum and the Capability Workshops, conceived as spaces for exchange among the Spanish Army, industry, and academia.

In this context, the participation of technology companies makes it possible to bring solutions already being applied in other sectors closer to the military field, and to explore how they can be adapted to the specific needs of defense.

ARSOFT Will Be at Booth 34

On September 30 and October 1, anyone visiting the 2E+I Army Forum in Toledo will be able to stop by ARSOFT’s booth 34 to learn about EyeFlow and see demonstrations of its applications in the defense field.

It will also be an opportunity to speak directly with industry professionals about some of the challenges currently facing training, maintenance, and technical documentation management.

The experience ARSOFT has gained through its Extended Reality projects allows the company to approach these technologies from a practical perspective: identifying a specific problem and analyzing how XR can help solve it.

Because technology matters when it makes life easier for the people behind it.

Extended Reality is already part of the technological transformation taking place in sectors such as defense. Its evolution now depends on continuing to bring it into real-world situations, where it can help improve training, reduce errors, and facilitate access to information.
