Santiago Gonzalez, CEO of ARSOFT, attends IT²EC 2023 to show how XR technologies are used in Army training practices.

IT²EC is an exhibition that brings together for three days a wide selection of defense industry professionals from all over Europe to share knowledge about the different military trainings and to experience the technology that shapes them. It is held from April 24 to 26 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Arsoft will be present at IT²EC 2023, the International Defense Technology Training Technology Exhibition and Conference. It is one of the most important meetings on defense technology for the military in Europe. Santiago Gonzalez, CEO of Arsoft, will attend this event to give a lecture on the use of XR technologies (Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality) as a tool in the training practices of the Spanish Army. He will do so together with Joël Le Lann, from the Sonovision group.

Sonovision and Arsoft are working together to deploy the full potential of these technologies to improve training processes in the sector, taking advantage of all the knowledge and experience of both companies.

In this context, IT²EC becomes an opportunity to show how the Eyeflow platform, developed by Arsoft, is helping the Army to conduct training in inspection and maintenance operations of vehicles and weapon systems, through simulators with XR technologies.

Eyeflow is a unique authoring platform that enables the easy creation of interactive Virtual Reality simulators and Augmented Reality procedures at a cost more than 10 times lower than traditional XR content.

With EyeFlow, the cost of digitizing technical publications and converting them into interactive 3D content is minimal. Currently, EyeFlow users have already created more than 700 simulators.

There are many important public and private companies in the defense sector that, like the Army, have already implemented XR technologies to improve training, maintenance and inspection of, for example, aircraft, tanks or weapons systems. All this in a simple and risk-free way.

At ARSOFT, we are specialists in the digitization of industrial processes for the operation and maintenance of vehicles, converting this documentation into 3D content, which can be viewed simply with a tablet or smartphone, but also with Augmented and Virtual Reality.

Thanks to the alliance between Sonovision and Arsoft, companies in the defense sector get the best XR technology from the hand of experts in this sector, with the ability to digitize a large number of processes and convert them into XR content in a scalable, sustainable and efficient way.
