HORMIGOBOTS PROJECT STARTUP

Last December 2021 CDTI published the definitive resolution of the PTAS (Programa Tecnológico de Automoción Sustenible) for the year 2021. The HORMIGOBOTS project obtained the maximum score by obtaining a subsidy of more than 4 million euros between all partners.

On June 24th, we carried out a visit to the BOSCH Madrid industrial socio-industrial plant to first understand its needs while using Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality technologies that can help us improve even more of a plant that by itself is in an advanced state of digitalization.

During our visit to the BOSCH installations, we found ourselves with a plant perfectly integrated into the industry 4.0 concept, all processes are correctly processed, 3D models are available of the different machines that are running 24/7, the different operating parameters of these machines are sensorized…

How can ARSOFT help a plant like BOSCH to continue improving in its digitalization process?

We will be responsible for virtualizing current processes to take advantage of the benefits of Virtual Reality to improve training processes, Augmented Reality as a powerful support tool and Mixed Reality as a tool to take advantage of all the information provided by the digital twin.

Plant workers will have more advanced visualization tools that will convert them into a 4.0 worker, thus improving process efficiency and reducing the amount of human error in the plant.

The HORMIGOBOTS project, in which technology providers and industrial partners participate, is beginning to give its first positive results by giving relevance to the application of new enabling technologies.
